Summary: 🎙️The Tarpons fell 11-9 in an absolute slugfest against Fort Myers after the bullpen blew the game, but the offense continues to fire on all cylinders. Luis Durango was the catalyst yet again, going 2-for-4 with a triple and his 7th stolen base to cap off a blistering five-game stretch where he’s hitting .389. He was well-supported by JoJo Jackson, who reached three times and swiped two bags, and Ediel Rivera, whose two-RBI single kept Tampa within striking distance until a late Fort Myers surge sealed the deal.

The biggest development on the mound was the continued evolution of Greysen Carter, who provided 3 innings of relief with four strikeouts and no walks. Carter has completely transformed his profile over his last five outings, allowing just two walks across his last 10.2 innings of work. By pairing his elite velocity with newfound command of the strike zone, he is quickly becoming one of the most dominant arms in the Florida State League bullpen.

2B Connor McGinnis 1-3: BB, Single, Run

RF Cole Gabrielson 0-3: BB, Run

SP Sean Paul Liñan 6 IP | 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 7 K (Longest start since joining Yankees org)

RP Brady Kirtner: 2 IP | 2 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 2 K

RP Tony Rossi: 1 IP | 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K (Rossi should be pitching for Somerset already)

Summary: 🎙️ Sean Paul Liñan was untouchable tonight, tossing 6.0 no-hit innings with 7 strikeouts to anchor an 8-1 Renegades blowout over Winston-Salem. The offense provided plenty of fireworks to back the gem, led by Kaeden Kent’s 3-for-5 performance to bring his season RBI total to 21. Josue Gonzalez provided the power with his 3rd home run of the year, while Wilson Rodriguez remained a force in the lineup with a 2-hit, 3-RBI night. With the win, Hudson Valley moves to 16-12 and takes control of the series.

3B Tyler Hardman 1-4: Double (8), Run (11 game hitting streak)

SS Owen Cobb 0-3: (3 Ks on the day)

SP Kyle Carr: 6 IP | 5 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 1 BB,  8K (Season High 8 Ks)

RP Eric Reyzelman: 1.2 IP | 1 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 3 K

RP Hayden Merda: 0.1 IP | 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K

Summary: 🎙️The Somerset Patriots dropped a 5-1 decision to the Reading Fightin Phils, though the pitching staff provided plenty of bright spots. Starter Kyle Carr delivered a gritty performance, racking up a season-high 8 strikeouts over 6.0 innings while surrendering only one walk. The offense struggled to string hits together, going 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position, but two of the organization’s hottest bats refused to cool off. Jackson Castillo pushed his hitting streak to a season-high 14 games with a sharp single, while Tyler Hardman extended his own hitting streak to 11 games with an eighth double of the year.

Eric Reyzelman continues to look like he belongs at a higher level, striking out three in his 1.2 innings of relief. He has been nearly untouchable over his last five outings, pairing his elite velocity with a refined localized strike zone. By maintaining a 6:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio over the last two weeks, Reyzelman has dropped his season ERA while proving he can maintain high-leverage efficiency without sacrificing his signature "swing-and-miss" stuff.
