Saturday's Railriders game was postponed due to the cold weather. So the SWB Railriders closed out their Opening Weekend by playing two today, and they split the Double Header with the Buffalo Bisons.

Tampa, Hudson Valley, Somerset are set to begin their season next weekend.

Game Summary & Notes

Carlos Lagrange's Debut: Today marked the highly anticipated Triple-A debut for Carlos Lagrange. He was dominant over four innings, flashing triple-digit heat hitting 101.3 MPH and, most impressively, did not walk a single batter. He got an early hook, but he could have gone a couple more innings.
Jasson Domínguez stayed hot in Game 1, pacing the team with three hits and two crucial RBIs, including a clutch RBI in the 9th of GM 1 that put SWB ahead. A misplayed ball near the warning track will provide Twitter with Jasson fodder, but in his defense in this case there were 15-20 MPH heavy wind gusts...still it should have been caught.
Spencer Jones puts up 2 Hits in Game 1, and in Game 2, Jones showcased his power with a 109.1 MPH, 394-foot solo home run, his first of the young season.
Yanquiel Fernández also went deep for the second time this year.
Oswaldo Cabrera drew a key walk and eventually scored the game-winning run in the 10th inning of the opener.
Yovanny Cruz made his Triple A debut, and earned the win in Game 1. Cruz continues to look like a possible high-leverage arm who could be a factor for the Yankees' bullpen later this summer. He fired off a couple 100 MPH Fastballs and generated 8 Whiffs, of which 7 came on the Slider.
Right-hander Harrison Cohen is another name to watch; although he did allow inherited runners to score tonight, he is a prime candidate to make his MLB debut this season.
